Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that focuses on ground fighting. Its goal is to control an opponent through technique and leverage, using body manipulation and chokes. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, students learn how to use technique, timing, and body leverage to overcome a stronger or larger opponent. BJJ also incorporates techniques from wrestling and judo to perform takedowns and gain control. Thanks to its technical effectiveness, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has become one of the most popular and influential martial arts in the world.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a modern combat sport that combines elements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, judo, kickboxing, and boxing. The sport includes both standing and ground fighting, with an emphasis on adaptability to changing situations. In our MMA classes, students learn a variety of techniques for offense and defense, while improving physical fitness, coordination, and self-confidence. MMA is considered one of the most challenging and exciting combat sports and is ideal for anyone looking to develop broad skills in martial arts or self-defense. Our MMA training is suitable for beginners.
